Heater Core: Service and Repair

Heater Box Removal

1. Fit hose clips on the hoses by the heater-box.
2. Remove the hoses from the heater-box.
3. Blow compressed air through one of the hoses to empty the heater box of coolant.
4. Carry out the following operations:

Remove the glove box.

Remove the panels on both sides of the centre console.  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair

Remove the cover round the ignition switch.  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair

-

Remove the rear ashtray.  

-

Remove the rear air vents and the cover.

-

Remove the screws securing the rear part of the centre console.

-

Remove the switches for the window lifts.

-

Remove the ACC control module, if fitted.

-
