Handbrake Warning Lamp: Description and Operation
The handbrake warning lamp is situated in the right-hand part of the instrument display. This lamp lights up to tell the driver that the handbrake is on.
The lamp is supplied with current in the main instrument display panel.
As long as the handbrake is applied the lamp will be connected to ground via pin 4 (12p-2), causing it to light up.
