Remove the part of the inlet (pressure) pipe between the air cooler and throttle housing that is connected to the housing. Do so by removing the
contact housing, the hose clamp and the two screws that fix the pipe to the housing.
WARNING
Be careful with the spring package. It you allow it to become unwound, it must be rewound 240 degrees (2/3rds of a complete turn).

Remove the throttle arm shaft bolt.

Holding the lever arm in position, remove the bushing.
If corrosion is present, use a soft brush or compressed air to clean away the area surrounding the lever arm. Do not use any solvents or lubricants.
If the bushing cannot be easily removed, remove the lever arm assembly and replace it. Install a new bolt and nickel-plated bushing.

Insert the new bushing in the throttle control lever.

Be sure that the lever arm is in place so that the end of the spring is located just above the notch on the throttle housing.
Pull the lever arm slightly to open the throttle approximately 8mm and screw in the new bolt.
