11. Remove the nine valve housing retaining bolts.
NOTE:

Start with the two retaining bolts at bottom left which secure the cover to the fluid channels.
^
The channels are filled with transmission fluid.
^
Save the two upper retaining bolts for last.
^
The bolts are of 3 different lengths.
12. Carefully remove the selector lever's manual valve from the retaining eye and carefully lift out the valve housing.
NOTE: Make sure that the two O-rings installed inside the valve housing do not fall out.
