Oil Pick Up/Strainer: Service and Repair

Oil Sump, Oil Strainer and Antislosh Baffle, to Change (In Car)

In vehicle.

REMOVAL

1. Raise the car, drain the oil and remove the subframe, refer to Suspension and Steering.
2. Undo the oil pan retaining bolts and remove the oil pan.
3. Remove the bolts in the on strainer holder.

Remove the oil suction pipe's retaining bolts in the oil pump.

-

Remove the strainer.

-

Note the oil suction pipe's O-ring.

4. Remove the antislosh baffles.
