Loosen the hose clamps.

Inspect the hose for damage. if there is evidence of damage from one or both of the clamps, the hose and clamps should be replaced.
NOTE
Try to perform steps 4 and 5 quickly to minimize coolant loss. If done on a cold engine, only a few drops will be lost.

Slip one end of the hose off of the coolant tube.
5.
Slide the old clamps off and the new clamps on. Refit the end of the hose.
6.
Tighten the clamps and start the engine to check for leaks. Be careful not to overtighten the clamps.
7.
Top up the coolant reservoir if necessary.

At PDI or the next service interval, please change these clamps and submit a warranty claim using the following information:

Time allowance is 0.2 hr. which should be entered as straight time.
