Measure and mark the point on the rear bumper sill where the two holes for the switch are to be drilled (see template).
IMPORTANT:
Remove all drilling shavings from the trunk.

Attach clip P/N 79 68 001 on the switch. Mount the switch using screws P/N 85 77 793. Hold the switch from underneath so that it does not turn
and trap the push rod in the hole.
Connect the interior lighting lead.
Check the operation of the switch.
