4. Remove the rear object alarm module (REC).
5. Remove the object alarm module.

Release the control unit (1).
*
Disconnect the 2 wiring harness plugs (2).
Installation Procedure
1. Install the object alarm module.
2. Insert the REC.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
3. Install the REC.

Fasten the object alarm module.
Tighten the nut (2) to 7 Nm (62 lb in).

Install the retaining lug.
*
Connect the 9 wiring harness plugs.
4. Close the service flap.
5. Connect the battery.
