Rear Bumper Reinforcement: Service and Repair
Rear Bumper Impact Bar Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (See: Rear Bumper Cover / Fascia/Service and Repair/Rear Bumper
Fascia Replacement).
2. Remove the impact bar (1).

Remove the 8 nuts (2 and 4).

Remove the 2 lock nuts (3).
Installation Procedure
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
Note: Use NEW nuts.
1. Install the rear impact bar.
