2. Install the center plug in the liftgate panel mounting.

Secure the plug.

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

3. Install the liftgate applique.

Tighten the 6 nuts to 3 Nm (26 lb in).

4. Connect the wiring harness plug.
5. Install the liftgate lower trim panel.

Install the 8 clips.

6. Install the lock trim panel.

Install the clip.

Tighten the bolts to 5 Nm (44 lb in).

7. Install the upper interior paneling - right side.

Install the 4 clips.

8. Install the luggage shade bracket - right side.
9. Install the upper liftgate garnish molding - left side.

Install the 4 clips.

10. Install the luggage shade bracket - left side.
11. Close the liftgate.
