2. Remove the active head restraint guide sleeve.

Bend the standard wire release hook, wire diameter 1-1.5 mm (0.04-0.06 in), for the active head restraint guide sleeve as in illustration I.

Mark the insertion depth of 50-55 mm (1.97-2.17 in).

Insert the release hook opposite the release button of the active headrest guide sleeve, release the guide sleeve and pull it out upwards.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the active head restraint guide sleeve.
Push the headrest guide sleeve into the front seat backrest until it clicks.
2. Install the headrest.
Engage the head restraint with an audible click.
