Remove the pedal bolt from the brake pedals (2).
*
Remove the retaining spring.
*
Remove the pedal bolt.
14. Remove the damping block.
15. Remove the brake pedal with the bearing block.
*
Remove 2 bolts (1).
*
Remove 4 nuts.
16. Remove the brake light switch (3) from the mounting.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the brake light switch in the mounting.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
2. Install the brake pedal with bearing block (1).
Tighten the 4 nuts and 2 bolts to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).
3. Insert the damping block.
4. Install the piston rod for the brake servo to the brake pedal.
5. Install the pedal bolt for the brake pedal.

Insert the pedal bolt.
*
Install the retaining spring.
6. Install the wiring harness.
*
Connect the wiring harness plug to the pedal sensor.
*
Clip the bracket in.
*
Connect the wiring harness plug, brake light switch.
