Disconnect the wiring harness connector.

Push back the heat shield.

*

Remove the oil pressure switch/sensor.

Installation Procedure

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

1. Install the oil pressure switch/sensor.

Tighten the oil pressure switch/sensor to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).

Install the wiring harness plug.

*

Install the heat shield.

2. Vehicles with air conditioning-Attach the compressor.

Tighten the 3 bolts to 22 Nm (16 lb ft).

3. If equipped with air conditioning, attach the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement   (See: Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and

Accessories/Drive Belt/Service and Repair).

4. Lower the vehicle by its full height.
5. Inspect the engine oil level and correct if necessary.
6. Close the hood.
