Tighten the 4 bolts to 4 Nm (35 lb in).

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Panel Replacement   (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /

2. Remove the defroster duct.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the defroster duct.
2. Install the I/P trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Panel Replacement   (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard /

Instrument Panel/Service and Repair).
