Camshaft Position Intake Actuator Replacement

MK-6340  Locking Tool

*

KM-6625  Flywheel Locking Device

*

MK-6628  Locking Tool

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the camshaft cover. Refer to Camshaft Cover Replacement   (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Cylinder Head Assembly/Valve

Cover/Service and Repair).

2. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement   (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and

Accessories/Drive Belt/Service and Repair).

3. Insert MK-6628   (1) into the camshaft.

Turn the camshaft by the hexagon until the groove on the end of the camshafts is horizontal (arrows).

4. Raise the vehicle by its full height.
5. Remove KM-6625  .

Detach the screwed connection.
