4. Remove the DIS-ignition module.

Note:  Note the arrow on the cover.

Remove the cover of the DIS-ignition module in the direction of the arrow.

Remove the 2 bolts.

*

Remove from the spark plugs using KM-6009     (1).

Installation Procedure

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

Note:  When installing a new DIS-ignition module it is not necessary to replace the gaskets.

1. Install the DIS-ignition module (1) with KM-6009  .

Replace the gaskets (2).

Tighten the 2 bolts to 8 Nm (71 lb in).

Install the DIS-ignition module cover.

2. Connect the DIS-ignition module wiring harness plug.
3. Connect the engine wiring trough to cylinder head.
4. Close the hood.
