Knock Sensor Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Open the hood.
Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning (See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service Precautions).
2. Disconnect the battery.
*
Remove the ground connection from the negative terminal.
*
Loosen the nut.
3. Raise the vehicle by its full height.
4. Remove the intake manifold support (2).
*
Disconnect the wiring harness plug of the catalytic converter control oxygen sensor.
*
Disconnect the wiring harness plug (1) from the bracket.
*
Remove the 2 bolts (3).
