2. Remove the lock cylinder.

Ignition key to position I.
*
Remove the lock cylinder with a suitable tool (screwdriver) (1).
*
Remove the lock cylinder (arrow).
Installation Procedure
1. Install the lock cylinder.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
2. Install the lower steering column paneling.
Tighten the 5 screws to 1 Nm (9 lb in).
3. Install the 2 panels.
