10. Remove the center nut of the generator pulley.
Note
The pulley nut is threaded counterclockwise (left hand thread).
11. Install the new pulley, GM P/N 55560294, on the generator, finger tight.
12. Using SPX Kent-Moore tool 8395923, insert the black tool into the center of the generator. Hold with a 15 mm wrench (2). Then use a ratchet and
tighten the nut with the special TORX(R) socket that comes with the tool (1).
Tighten
Tighten the nut to 80 Nm (59 lb ft).

13. Reattach the generator bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the two bolts to 35 Nm (25 lb ft).
