Removal Procedure
1. Remove the axle shaft. Refer to Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement (See: Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints/Axle Shaft Assembly/Service and Repair
).
Important: Do not damage the sealing surfaces.
2. Remove the axle shaft seal ring.
Remove the axle shaft seal ring with KM-557-A (2) and KM-557-2 (1).
