Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement   (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and

Repair).

2. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement   (See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Battery Replacement).

Note:  Do not remove the bolt.

3. Release the gearshift rod.

Loosen the bolt (1) for the relay point clamp.
