EN-48079 Hydraulic Belt Tensioner Compressor
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (1st Design) (See: Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air

2. Remove the engine mount bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Bracket Replacement (See: Engine Mount/Service and Repair).
3. Install the EN-48079 (1) to the drive belt tensioner spring.
4. Compress the drive belt tensioner spring fully using the EN-48079 (1).
5. Install a box wrench to the drive belt tensioner (2) and rotate the tensioner clockwise in order to release the tension from the drive belt.
6. With the tensioner released, remove the drive belt from under the middle idler pulley.
7. Slowly rotate the tensioner clockwise in order to allow the tensioner to rest.
8. Remove the drive belt from the vehicle.
