Oil Level Indicator and Tube Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (1st Design)  (See: Tune-up and Engine Performance

2. Remove the oil level indicator.
3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle  (See: Maintenance/Service Intervals).
4. Remove the engine wiring harness clip (1) from the oil level indicator tube bracket (2).

5. Remove the knock sensor electrical connector lead (1) from the oil level indicator tube bracket (2).
6. Lower the vehicle.
