Aura L4-2.4L (2008)
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Notice).
Important: Do not reuse the position sensor bolt. Always use a new bolt when installing a brake pedal position sensor.
1. Install the brake pedal position sensor and the bolt to the brake pedal bracket.
Tighten the bolt to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
2. Connect the electrical connector to the position sensor.
3. Install the intermediate steering shaft to the steering column. Refer to Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement (See: Steering and
Suspension/Steering/Steering Column/Service and Repair/Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement).
4. Install the instrument panel insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side (See: Body and Frame/Interior
Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair).
5. Calibrate the position sensor. Refer to Brake Pedal Position Sensor Calibration (See: Brake Pedal Position Sensor Calibration).
