Inflatable Restraint Side Impact Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Disable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling  (See: Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming/Service and Repair).
2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement  (See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front

Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair).

3. Remove the fasteners securing the sensor to the vehicle and remove the sensor from the vehicle.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation Procedure

1. Connect the electrical connector.
