Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (1st Design)  (See: Engine, Cooling and

Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct/Hose/Service and Repair/Air Cleaner

2. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge tube from the intake manifold. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

Service).

3. Reposition the EVAP canister purge tube (1) out of the way.
