Upper Intake Manifold Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the intake manifold cover. 
2. Disconnect the fuel feed pipe quick connect fitting from the fuel rail.
3. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) pipe quick connect fitting from the purge solenoid.
4. Remove the fuel line clip from the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor bracket.
5. Reposition the fuel/EVAP lines out of the way.

6. Drain the cooling system. 
7. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. 
8. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) fresh air tube from the rocker cover.
