Apply heat using butane torch (included with special tool SA9138Z), heating to 175~C ( 347~F), working from the center to the ends, until glue
flows around both edges of crimp and seal sleeve.

CAUTION:

DO NOT USE MATCH OR OPEN FLAME TO APPLY HEAT TO SEAL.

Route wire and install wire tie strap (P/N 21020792) or equivalent to cooling module as shown.

IMPORTANT:

Make sure to route wire so that wire cannot be drawn into the engine cooling fan, but allow enough slack for engine movement.

Clip off end of tie strap to ensure no interference with engine cooling fan blades.

10.

Connect oxygen sensor connector.

11.

Turn ignition On.

12.

Using a portable diagnostic tool (or equivalent scan tool), clear all diagnostic trouble codes.

13.

Apply service brake and parking brake, then start engine.

14.

Using portable diagnostic tool (or equivalent scan tool), verify closed-loop engine operation.
