Circuit 664

LOCATION: 

Connects turn/hazard switch connector cavity H to I/P cluster connector cavity Y.

TYPE: 

Dark Blue/White 22 gage wire

FUNCTION: 

This circuit supplies battery voltage to the I/P cluster right turn signal.

REPAIRS:

Check for OPEN or SHORTS

Repair as needed.

If this component is good, go to the next item indicated on the Symptom Chart.

Brake Switch

Check connections and terminals for damage, tightness, or corrosion.

Check switch resistance pin A or B (gray connector) to pin C or D (black connector).

Switch resistance: OPEN when brake not depressed. Less than one ohm when brake depressed.

Turn/Hazard Switch

Check connections and terminals for damage, tightness, or corrosion.

Check switch resistance.

Switch resistance at connector terminal pins:

Pin B to Pin C: < 1 ohm in Hazard OFF
Pin A to Pin C: < 1 ohm in Hazard ON

Switch resistance at connector terminal pins:

Pin A to all other Pins: OPEN when Hazard OFF 
Pin A to all other Pins: < 1 ohm when Hazard ON 
Pin A to all other Pins: OPEN when BOTH Turn Signals OFF
Pin A to Pins D,E,F: < 1 ohm when LEFT Turn Signal ON 
Pin A to Pins B,G,H: < 1 ohm when RIGHT Turn Signal ON 
Pin A to all other Pins: < 1 ohm when Hazard and Turn Signal ON

Switch is OPEN in ALL other pin and switch position combinations.

Repair as needed.

Bulbs

Check connections and terminals for damage, tightness, or corrosion. Visually inspect the bulb. Check resistance through the bulb. Repair as
needed. If this component is good, go to the next item indicated on the Symptom Chart.

Front Park/Turn Lamp Assemblies

Damage, tightness, or corrosion. Check resistance through the bulb sockets. Repair as needed. If this component is good, go to the next item
indicated on the Symptom Chart.
