Rear Hub & Wheel Bearings Replace

Disc Brakes

REAR HUB AND/OR BEARINGS

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel assembly.
2. Disconnect ABS wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove caliper to knuckle attaching bolts, then hang caliper with wire.
4. Remove brake rotor, then four hub to knuckle attaching bolts, remove hub.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten hub to knuckle bolts, caliper bolts and wheel lug nuts to Specifications. See: Suspension/Specifications

Drum Brakes

REAR HUB AND/OR BEARINGS

1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel assembly.
2. Remove brake drum, then the four hub to knuckle attaching bolts.
3. Remove hub assembly from vehicle.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten hub to knuckle bolts and wheel lug nuts to Specifications. See: Suspension/Specifications
