Service Information Procedures for Installation of 2nd Design Front Side Window Regulator Assemblies
MODELS AFFECTED:
1991-1995 Saturn Sedans and Wagons equipped with power windows
1995 Saturn Sedans and Wagons equipped with manual windows
PURPOSE:
A design change was made to the front door side window regulator assembly installed on vehicles built after and including VIN SZ148736. Since the
new 2nd design front side door window regulator assembly installs differently, the inner door panel has also been revised.
This bulletin provides an installation procedure for installing a new 2nd design front side door window regulator assembly into a 1st design front side
door.
PROCEDURES
1.
Remove inner and outer door trim panels. (Refer to "Doors" section of the "Body/Collision Repair Service Manual.")
2.
Lower door glass. Remove front side door window regulator nuts with tool SA9148B. Push glass up and rotate slightly. Remove door glass.
3.
On vehicles equipped with a power front side door window regulator, disconnect electrical harness connector.
4.
Remove front side door window regulator assembly cam bolts. Drill out rivets and remove front side door window regulator assembly.
