If installing a single-disc CD/radio unit in a 2000-2003 model year vehicle, then proceed to Step 3. If not, then proceed to Step 6.

Remove jumper harness from the back of the old single-disc CD/radio unit and retain harness for use with the new service single-disc CD/radio
unit.

4.

Remove and discard the jumper harness from the new service part.

5.

Install jumper harness that was removed from old single-disc CD/radio unit onto new service single-disc CD/radio unit as shown in illustration.

6.

Install new single-disc CD/radio unit, P/N 21997420, using installation procedures in the appropriate Saturn Service Manual or SI.
