Front Door Exterior Handle: Adjustments

Door Handle Rod Adjustment - Front Outside

Removal Procedure

1. Raise the window to the full UP position.
2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door  (See: Front Door Panel/Service and Repair) .
3. Remove the door water deflector in order to access the door handle rod. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door. See: Front Door

4. Remove the lower window channel retainer. Refer to Window Channel Replacement - Front Side Rear  (See: Front Door Window Glass/Front

Door Window Glass Weatherstrip/Service and Repair/Door Window Channel/Window Channel Replacement - Front Side Rear) .

5. Use a small flat-bladed tool in order to removethe outside handle rod from the door lock assembly.
