Door Window Regulator Replacement (Manual)

Window Regulator Replacement - Front Door (Manual Regulator)

Removal Procedure

1. Position the window to the three quarter down position.
2. Remove the window crank handle. Refer to Window Regulator Handle Replacement - Door  (See: Windows and Glass/Windows/Window

Handle/Service and Repair) .

3. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door  (See: Front Door Panel/Service and Repair) .
4. Remove the water deflector in order to access the window regulator. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door  See: Front Door

Panel/Service and Repair.

5. Remove the front door speaker (2). Refer to Speaker Replacement - Front Door   .

6. Disengage the door window to the regulator sash channel clips (2), separating the door window from the sash channel.
7. Push the window to the closed position and tape in place.

8. Remove the rear manual window regulator rear bolt. Loosen the other four bolts.
9. Remove the manual window regulator from the door (1).

Installation Procedure

1. Loosely install the 4 forward bolts into the manual window regulator assembly.
2. Position the manual window regulator in the door (1). Load the regulator through the rear hole (1). Access the regulator through the speaker hole

(2).
