Garnish Molding Replacement - Center Pillar Lower (Sedan)

Removal Procedure

Caution:  Refer to SIR Caution   in Cautions and Notices.

Caution:  In order to prevent SIR deployment, personal injury, or unnecessary SIR system repairs, do not strike the door or the door pillar in the
area of the side impact sensor (SIS). Turn OFF the ignition and remove the key when performing service in the area of the SIS.

1. Disable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Coupe)  SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 2 (Sedan)   and to SIR Disabling and

Enabling Zone 6 (Coupe)  SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 6 (Sedan)   in SIR.

2. Pull to remove the rear carpet retainer.
3. Pull to disengage the rearward clips from the front carpet retainer.

4. Remove the anchor bolt from the front seat belt retractor.
