5. Use the retaining tab to release the ECM from the underhood junction block bracket.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Use the retaining tab to secure the ECM, when installing the ECM to the underhood junction block bracket.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Connect the large ECM harness connector (4) to the ECM.
Tighten the bolt to 4 N.m (35 lb in).
3. Connect the small ECM harness connector (3) to the ECM.
4. Connect the negative Battery Cable.
5. Program the ECM. Refer to Service Programming System (SPS) in Programming. See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning
