Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
8. Tighten the park/neutral position switch bolt and stud.

Tighten the bolt and stud to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
9. Install the transmission control lever (2) and nut (1).

Tighten the nut to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.).
10. Connect the shift cable to the transmission control lever.
11. Verify the park/neutral position switch adjustment by starting the vehicle in all ranges. If the transmission starts in any range other than park or
neutral, readjust the park/neutral position switch.
