Rear Seat Entertainment DVD Screen will not Latch in Stowed Position (Replace Mounting Spring and Button)
MODELS AFFECTED:
2002 L-Series vehicles equipped with rear seat entertainment DVD player (RPO U32)
CONDITION:
Some customer may comment the DVD screen will not stay in the latched (stowed) position.
CAUSE:
This condition may be caused by the latch spring mounting tab breaking off on the overhead console.
CORRECTION:
To correct this condition replace the mounting spring and button using revised spring attachment location on the overhead console. Refer to procedure in
this bulletin for latch spring replacement.
