L200 L4-2.2L VIN F (2002)
1. Using a C-clamp, bottom piston all way into caliper bore.
NOTICE: Linings are identified for left or right use. Install linings so arrow is pointing downward, with forward rotation of wheel.
IMPORTANT: Remove all rust and corrosion from caliper brackets when installing brake pads. If installing used brake pads, remove all rust and
corrosion from ends of brake pads and from the notch. Make sure brake pads move freely in caliper bracket when brakes are assembled.
2. Install inner and outer brake pads into calipers.
3. Position caliper onto caliper support bracket.
NOTICE: Be careful not to damage guide pin boots.
4. Lubricate straight section (not threads) of guide pins with silicone grease.
5. Install guide pins through caliper body into caliper support and tighten.
Torque:
Caliper-to-Bracket Guide Pins: 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.)
6. Install guide pin bushing caps.
