Transmission Position Switch/Sensor: Adjustments

TRANSAXLE RANGE SWITCH ADJUSTMENT 

TOOLS REQUIRED

J41545 Park Neutral Position Switch Tool

1. Shift transaxle into NEUTRAL position.
2. Remove shift control cable from transaxle range switch lever.

3. Remove transaxle range switch lever nut and lever.
4. Loosen transaxle range switch bolts.

5. Insert Park Neutral Position Switch Tool J41545 as shown and rotate switch until tool drops into position.
6. Tighten transaxle range switch bolts.

Torque:
Transaxle Range Switch Bolts: 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.) 

7. Remove alignment tool.
