2. Remove glove compartment.
IMPORTANT: The harness on the passenger air bag should not be removed.
3. Disconnect air bag from vehicle wire harness at yellow two-way connector.
4. Remove fasteners securing air bag to I/P support beam.
5. Push air bag rearward and rotate round end downward.
6. Remove air bag from vehicle through glove compartment opening.
INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT: The harness exits the air bag on the right side of vehicle.
1. Insert air bag through I/P opening with vinyl edge UP and harness on right side of vehicle.
IMPORTANT: The harness connected to the air bag must be routed between the round guide pin and the air bag mounting ear.
