Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

TFP SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

REMOVAL 

1. Remove transaxle case side cover. 

2. Remove TFP switch assembly bolts.
3. Remove TFP switch assembly from control valve body assembly. The TFP switch O-rings are reusable if not damaged, and should remain with

switch assembly.

INSTALLATION 

1. Inspect TFP switch assembly in order to verify the condition and correct location of pressure switch O-rings. If necessary, replace O-rings.
2. Install TFP switch assembly onto control valve body assembly, and install bolts.

Torque:
Control Valve Body Bolts: 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.) 

3. Install transaxle case side cover. 
4. Start engine, warm up transaxle, and check for leaks.
5. Check for proper fluid level using "Transaxle Fluid Level Checking Procedure".
