Rear Bumper Impact Bar Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement   (See: Rear Bumper Cover / Fascia/Service and Repair).
2. Remove the rear energy absorber. Refer to Rear Energy Absorber Replacement   (See: Rear Bumper Shock Absorber/Service and Repair).
3. Remove the nuts from the rear bumper impact bar studs.
4. Remove the rear bumper impact bar from the vehicle.
5. Remove the mastic washers from the rear bumper impact bar studs.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the mastic washers on the rear bumper impact bar upper studs.
2. Install the rear bumper impact bar to the vehicle.
