Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair

Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement   (See: Front Door Window Glass/Service and Repair/Front Side

Door Window Replacement).

2. Disconnect the electrical connection from the regulator, if equipped.
3. Remove the window regulator attachment bolts.
4. Remove the front door regulator out through the opening in the lower center door reinforcement.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the front door regulator through the opening in the lower center door reinforcement.
2. Install and snug the regulator bolts, except the rear-most. 
3. Leave the rear-most regulator attachment bolt out to allow for the window installation.
4. Install the front door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement   (See: Front Door Window Glass/Service and Repair/Front Side
