6. Install shutter, shutter springs, cap and gasket.

7. Install lock cylinder into liftgate lock cylinder housing.
8. Install compression spring, washer plate, and snap ring

9. Install switch lever into lock cylinder housing.

10. Place one leg of the return spring into the slot between the switch lever and the plastic housing.

11. Align the pawl so the top leg of the return spring slides into the slot in the pawl.
