L300 V6-3.0L VIN R (2001)
5. Remove front timing belt cover.
6. Remove timing belt.
IMPORTANT: As a precaution, rotate the crankshaft counterclockwise to 60 degrees BTDC position to prevent valve/piston contact.
7. Insert Timing Belt Alignment Kit J42069-2 Camshaft Gear Locking Tool into camshaft gears to hold them in place while loosening camshaft gear
bolt.
8. Remove J42069-2 Camshaft Gear Locking Tool.
9. Remove camshaft gear bolt and discard.
10. Remove camshaft gear.
