Enabling Curtain Inflators (Sedan)
21.
Connect left and right curtain inflator module (YEL 2-way) connectors and install CPA retainers.
22.
Install C-pillar trim on both left and right sides of the vehicle.
22.1 Position C-pillar trim to vehicle.
22.2 Route shoulder belt into C-pillar trim at access slot.
22.3 Install C-pillar trim by pushing gently at clip locations.
CAUTION:
APPLY LOCTITE 242(R) (OR EQUIVALENT) ON ALL RESTRAINT FASTENERS PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
22.4 Install rear shoulder belt to C-pillar.
Torque:
Rear Shoulder Belt-to-C-Pillar: 35 N.m (26 ft-lbs)
22.5 Install rear shoulder belt fastener cover.
22.6 Function rear seat shoulder belt to verify proper operation.
