Brake Master Cylinder: Service and Repair
Brake Fluid Resovoir
1. Vehicles equipped with manual transaxles must disconnect clutch hydraulic feed line from master cylinder. Plug line to avoid leakage and
contamination.
2. Remove brake fluid level sensor electrical connector.
NOTICE: After removing brake pipe fittings, do not excessively pull or bend brake pipes away from master cylinder.
3. Remove brake pipe fittings from master cylinder.
NOTICE: Plug open brake pipes to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
4. Remove master cylinder to brake booster nuts.
NOTICE: Be careful not to bend brake pipes.
