1. Assemble servo cushion springs and servo piston onto servo pin.
2. Install snap ring onto servo pin in order to retain servo cushion springs and servo piston.
3. Assemble new seals onto servo piston and servo cover.
4. Assemble servo piston assembly into servo cover. Lubricate piston seals with transaxle fluid in order to aid in assembly.

NOTICE:  Hand start and tighten servo cover bolts evenly to prevent damage to servo cover bore.

5. Install servo return spring into the transaxle case.
6. Install servo cover and piston assembly over servo return spring.
7. Hand start and install servo cover bolts.

Torque: 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.)

8. Install oil pan.
9. Lower vehicle.

10. Add DEXRON(R) III (P/N 21019228) transaxle fluid or equivalent to specified refill capacity.
11. Start engine, warm up transaxle, and check for leaks.
12. Check for proper fluid level using the "Transaxle Fluid Level Checking Procedure".
