LW2 V6-3.0L VIN R (2000)
1. Lightly coat new seals, including O-rings, with engine oil prior to installation to assist in holding O-ring seals to camshaft cover.
2. Install camshaft cover seals.
3. Apply a thin coat of Loctite (R) 5900 or equivalent on front and rear of camshaft cover as shown in figure as the shaded areas.
4. Install camshaft cover to the cylinder head.
5. Install camshaft cover bolts.

Torque: 8 Nm (71 ft. lbs.)
6. Install oil filler cap.
7. Install lift bracket.

Torque: 8 Nm (71 ft. lbs.)
8. Install ignition coil.

Torque: 8 Nm (71 ft. lbs.)
9. Connect crankshaft position sensor electrical connection.
10. Install intake manifold. Refer to "Intake Manifold Replacement".
11. Install intake plenum. Refer to "Intake Plenum Replacement".
